Lake

Last Thursday we went out on the lake for the first time this season. It was also E's first time on the boat. He did very well. I think he enjoyed the breeze and it's easy for him to fall asleep with a nice boat ride. The kids were ecstatic to be on the lake. C even woke at 5 am that morning crying because he couldn't decide if he should wear the blue swim trunks or the red ones. Or agua shorts, as he calls them. S was happy to practice her swim skills jumping into the cool water and swimming back to the boat.

Chris was happy to see the C wanted to wake board with him. Something that makes me a bit nervous, and I don't get nervous easily. Mostly, because it's me driving them. But Chris is the most safest with our kids and they are in very good hands with him.

I got a good long run on the wake board. The last time I did I was 4 or 5 months pregnant and couldn't zip my life jacket. So this time felt great. And, a bit sore the next day. The highlight of the trip was grandma Vicki who got a huge run in. She was a warrior!

What an awesome day out on the lake. And, it's always much better when I don't have to make dinner when we get home. It's an eat out day. Can't wait to go again!
