Food for Thought

You asked for it, you got it. l love this recipe that my husband picked up at the fire station. I could eat it every night for dinner. And it's so easy. So, drum roll please..........

KOREAN CHICKEN
Get it. A korean holding a chicken. Haha. I know. I'm lame.
KOREAN CHICKEN
Any cut chicken you like. I prefer 6-10 bone in skinless thighs.
1 bunch green onion, chopped
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup sugar
1-3 tbs minced fresh ginger (I like alot)
2 tbs seasame seed oil
1/4 cup seasame seeds
In a big pot, pour the soy and sugar together on low heat and let sugar dissolve into the soy for about 5 minutes. Then on medium heat throw in all the other ingredients, put the lid on, and cook for about 25 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Serve with steamed white rice (short grain or jasmine is really good), and fresh steamed green beans.

Yeah, thanks for the writing it down, hopefully I'll get it right next time. I can't believe I skimped on the sugar, that is so unlike me!
