Ringing in 2008

Isn't this scary! I'm talking about my hair, of course. This is from DH and my trip to see the Raiders vs. Chargers, my Christmas present. Oh. My. Goodness. Sooo fun! No joke. We got there at 8 am to tailgate, which consisted of breakfast burritos with bacon, mimosas, cowboy coffee...and then when we were done we had lunch. Barbecue arachera (flank steak), good salsa, chips, and soft drinks. And we still had a game to watch. Raider's fans are die hard and brutal, which I already knew having several in the family. But it was crazy. Oh, the score... 30 to 17 Chargers, of course.

We had a great New Year's Eve. Dh and his buddy went snowboarding while the kids and I went to see the family visiting at my grandma's. We then met up with daddy and went to dinner with his snowboarding pal and his family at their place. Afterward, we went back to grandma's and rang in the New Year with our family. This is the first year the kids (and I) stayed up past 12, intentionally. They were party animals! Good times.

Since the days (since Thanksgiving) have been so fun and hectic I have holed my self up at home for 2 days now. I think I'm now ready to come out. And a seven day storm is approaching. Great.
